Asked my friend Eric about the all-encompassing phrase I keep seeing in the subtitles on my TV screen: "e Isso I." I first came across this phrase years ago when I heard Ana Carolina & Seu Jorge sing a cover of Damien Rice's "The Blower's Daughter." The original line in English is "and so it is." I've also seen it appear in TV subtitles to mean "it is what it is," or "that's alright." Interesting phrase, worth adding to the vocabulary.
